we provide one-stop services for everything from planning to delivery.
Our Strengths
Package Printing

We have enhanced the precision of our surface decoration technologies to elevate the visual impact of packaging, delivering products enriched with a wide variety of decorative finishes.
UV Flexographic Printing

Our UV flexographic printing presses enable a wide range of finishing processes, including pseudo-embossing, cold foiling, and window cutting, and are capable of reproducing ultra-fine text.
This technology is also recognized as an environmentally friendly printing solution.
Plastic Molded Products

To ensure the production of safe, secure, and high-quality primary containers, we operate under an advanced security system within a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
Our Environmental Initiatives

We are committed to environmental conservation through initiatives such as offering STONE-SHEET® molded products as plastic alternatives, introducing environmentally friendly flexographic printing presses, and obtaining FSC® CoC certification to support forest conservation.
Overseas Production

Leveraging the Kowa Group’s overseas network, we provide integrated management at every stage, from material procurement to production processes, quality control, and delivery schedule management, for products such as packaging materials, sewn goods, and general merchandise.
This enables us to pursue high-quality production at competitive prices.
Assembly and Logistics Services

We provide comprehensive support to help reduce both operational burden and costs. In addition to supplying packaging materials, we also offer one-stop services covering product assembly, packaging, and delivery.
Plastic Molded Products
We provide high-quality primary containers for pharmaceutical products.

To ensure the production of safe, secure, and high-quality primary containers, we maintain a clean manufacturing environment and an advanced security framework.
We have achieved stable 24-hour production through 100% visual inspection using inspection systems equipped with multiple 8K cameras, as well as automation that enables unmanned operation during nighttime hours.
We are also actively engaged in reducing plastic usage and in researching and developing alternative materials, while offering containers made of environmentally friendly STONE-SHEET® material.
We have established a flexible production system capable of meeting diverse customer needs.
Features of STONE-SHEET®

Material
Main raw material: Domestically sourced calcium carbonate (limestone)
Japan has extremely abundant reserves of this mineral resource, enabling domestic self-sufficiency.
Key Features
- Suitable for a wide range of applications, including containers, packaging, and everyday products
- Can be disposed of as combustible waste
- Exempt from the Japanese Containers and Packaging Recycling Act
- Excellent durability and water resistance
Moldable into a wide variety of products

Blow molding
A molding process used to form hollow plastic products
(such as shampoo bottles, pharmaceutical containers, and other products)

Injection molding
A molding process in which material is injected into a mold and then cooled to create products of various shapes
(e.g., caps, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, pens, other stationery items, and various lifestyle products)
Our Environmental Initiatives
Toward a Sustainable Society with Kowabo
The Kowa Group has adopted “Health and Environment” as its management vision. In line with this vision, Kowabo offers a wide range of environmentally responsible packaging materials and proposes environmental initiatives tailored to each customer's needs.

Development of STONE-SHEET®
STONE-SHEET® is an environmentally friendly material manufactured by the Kowa Group.
It is a plastic alternative produced by compounding resin pellets with more than 50% calcium carbonate.

FSC® CoC certification
We have obtained FSC® Chain of Custody (CoC) certification, enabling us to provide packaging bearing the FSC label. For paper packaging, we can also use Biomass Mark certified inks.
In addition, we handle a wide variety of other environmentally conscious materials and can offer labeling options based on third-party and industry certification schemes.

UV flexographic printing
Flexographic UV inks contain extremely low levels of VOCs (volatile organic compounds), making this printing method environmentally friendly and safer for human health.
Flexographic printing also contributes to waste reduction as it generates less waste during printing than other methods.
Factory Overview
Main Factory (Head Office)
Our manufacturing facilities in Nagoya operate under a clean environment that complies with stringent pharmaceutical packaging standards, and deliver cost-effective, high-quality, and high value-added packaging products. We also have UV flexographic printing presses for film applications, enabling environmentally friendly, high-definition, and diverse printing expression.
We have established an integrated production system covering all processes from design proposals through printing, die-cutting, and carton forming, ensuring stable packaging production in an environment with controlled temperature, humidity, and air pressure.
Our cleanrooms are maintained at the high cleanliness levels required for the primary packaging of pharmaceuticals and food products. Within this controlled environment, containers are manufactured using injection molding, blow molding, and injection blow molding machines.
In addition, containers can undergo various inspections using inspection systems and can be printed using screen printing equipment.
Takahashi Factory
Located in the northern part of Takahashi City, Okayama Prefecture, the Takahashi Factory primarily manufactures environmentally conscious containers by blending a high proportion of high-purity calcium carbonate into plastic raw materials, thereby significantly reducing plastic usage.
Containers with a calcium carbonate content exceeding 50% are exempt from the Containers and Packaging Recycling Law, and they significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions during incineration.
In addition, all of our manufacturing areas are operated as cleanrooms, providing a hygienic environment suitable for the production of primary containers for pharmaceuticals and food products.
